With dark
green and double pointed 5.5 mm ndls cast on 52 sts.
Work Stripes in a circular manner until the bag meas 38 cm.
Change to
dark green,. Work the bottom of the bag in garter st
[alt k1 row and p1 row] and at the same
time dec as follows: *k2,
k2 tog*, repeat from *to* around.
P1 row + k1
row + p1 row without dec.
Next row: *k1, k2
tog*, repeat from *to* around.

Cut the
yarn, thread it through remaining sts, gather and
fasten strand very well.
Crochet upper edges:
Use dark
green and a 5 mm hook. Fasten the yarn with 1 slip st.
Row 1: *work 5 chain sts, skip 2 sts, 1
slip stitch in next st*, repeat from *to* around. Join the row with 1 slip
stitch in first chain.
Row 2: work 3 single crochet in each chain
loop around. Cut the yarn and fasten all ends well.
Cords: Crochet chain sts
with dark green for approx. 60 cm. Crochet in the same manner with deep red.
Felt the
bag as well as the cords. After felting shape the bag over a wine bottle and
allow it to dry. Insert the cords through the upper edge and tie the green and
red cords together.
